Nollywood fans have raised concern over the visibly emaciated frame of veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs in a new video.

The actor had paid a surprise visit to his actress wife Joke Sylva on set where she was working alongside Uche Jombo.

Jacobs, who is one of the most respected actors in Nigeria’s movie industry, was seen in the video looking a lot older and had lost a lot of weight.

“Such amazing feeling and surprise @_olujacobs a hall of fame visit 🙌🏾👏🏾❤️” Uche Jombo wrote, captioning the video.

While the actor was coherent and looked like he was aware of his environment, his wife could be heard introducing Uche Jombo to him.

“Uche, Uche is here, Uche Jombo,” she said.

Many persons have commented on Olu Jacob’s drastic change with some speculating that his health is deteriorating. Fans in the comments also wished the 79-year-old actor a speedy recovery.

In 2020, Nollywood actress Kemi Lala Akindoju had to debunk rumors that the veteran actor is dead.

Akindoju had taken to her Twitter page on Monday 9th June 2020 admonishing people to stop spreading rumors about the actor.

A week before then, the actor in a video posted by his wife Joke Sylva stated he has not endorsed any medication to treat diabetes or any treatment at all.

His family is yet to open up on his health condition if any.
