2019 was a year of interesting events, and a number of female celebrities became first-time mothers during the year. Although a number of these celebrities denied “falling” pregnant, we later saw them with babies on social media.

 

In that light, we present five celebrities that had their babies in 2019.

 

1. Tboss

 

Tokunbo ‘Tboss’ Idowu is an ex-housemate from BBNaija Season 2, tagged “Double Wahala”. The housemate had a number of controversies in the house.

 

One of these controversies was when fellow housemate Kemen was disqualified from the show for attempted assault on Tboss. After leaving the house, she was rumoured to be in a relationship with triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin. However, both parties denied being in a relationship.

 

Then early in the year, Tboss was rumoured to be pregnant. The ex-housemate refused to say anything about the rumour until a social media user posted a photo of her while undergoing antenatal in a hospital in Abuja.

 

Meanwhile, Tboss opened up in August that she is now a mother of a baby girl, and she later revealed photos from her maternity shoot. However, she is yet to mention who the father of her child is, which has resulted in frequent trolls on Instagram.

 

2. Toyin Abraham

 

Toyin Abraham is a Nollywood actress who managed to keep her pregnancy hidden from her fans. Even when her fans asked why she was away from social media and film, the actress did not make a public statement to address the questions.

 

However, in August, she welcomed a baby boy with her partner Kolawole Ajeyemi. The baby was named “Ire” Ajeyemi. The actress has since returned to the spotlight with the launch of her herbal product called “Toyin herbal booster” and the release of her new film titled “Elevator Baby”.

3. Ruth Kadiri

 

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri became a first-time mother in August 2019. The actress, like the first two female celebrities kept her pregnancy on the low.

 

The actress revealed that she was married early this year, when she flashed her wedding ring, also adding her surname” Ezerika” to her Instagram bio.

 

In August, the Edo state-born actress became a mother to a baby girl named “Reign Ezerika”. She has since been posting beautiful photos of herself and her baby on Instagram.

 

4. Esther Ene

 

Nollywood actress Esther Ene got married to her husband, Phillip Ojire, in 2016. The actress welcomed a baby boy named “Chevaughn Ojire” in October. She has since been uploading photos of celebrities visiting her baby.

 

5. Chioma Rowland

 

The celebrity girlfriend of popular musician Davido became a mother on the 20th of October 2019 in London. She and her husband to be welcomed a baby boy named Ifeanyi David Adeleke. Chioma, aka Chef Chi, has since been posting beautiful mother and son moments on social media.

 

A big congratulations to these celebrities who became first-time mothers in 2019. Motherhood is a beautiful thing am sure you agree.
