General Motors has officially begun delivery of its electric Hummer EV to customers, particularly the Edition 1 truck. The exact price of this model starts at $110,295 capable of 1,000 horsepower, 11,500 lb-ft of torque and 329 mileage.
All of these limited-edition models are currently sold out but there is a “Hummer EV 3X” still available for preorder. It retails for a lesser $99,995 price with tri motors producing 830 horsepower, an estimated over 300 mileage and up to 11,500 lb-ft of torque.
There are also two lower versions of the electric Hummer available for preorder, the “EV 2X” and “EV 2.” The Hummer EV 2X costs $89,995 with dual motors and will ship in the spring of 2023. General Motors says this vehicle will an approximate 300 mileage, and 7400 lb-ft of torque.
While the EV 2 variant will have the same motors, horsepower, and torque. Although with a cheaper $70,995 price tag, and less mileage of 250 over a single charge.

Interestingly, the Edition 1 electric pickup truck ships with a “Crabwalk” feature that allows this huge vehicle to drive diagonally at low speeds. This is achievable by moving in the same direction as with the rear and front wheels. The $110,000 base model price of the Hummer EV will be rivalling the likes of the Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian’s R1T and Ford’s F-Lighting.
The Edition 1 Hummer EV has a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds and a carriage capacity of 1,300 pounds. Despite its hefty weight, this truck accelerates extremely fast from zero to 60 miles in 3 seconds. All General Motor electric vehicles would be built on the company’s Ultim platform, a bespoke EV platform for its battery-powered vehicles.
