Google Nigeria recently presented the results of its 2020 top searches to the media on Wednesday 9th December in Lagos
Coronavirus, Joe Biden, Davido, Kobe Bryant, and p*rnstar Martinis topped the list for the most Google searches in Nigeria in 2020.
The search trend information is gleaned from data collated by Google based on what Nigerians have been asking the search engine in 2020.
Coronavirus was top of everyone’s minds this year and as such was number one on top trending searches in Nigeria. However, the pandemic did not stop Nigerians from searching “how to make hand sanitizer?”, or checking out the US elections and exploring the world of entertainment.
