Google Teases The Pixel 6, To Rival Other Flagship Phones In The Market

Google teased the Pixel 6 and Pixel Pro, the tech company is positioning the phone to rival other Flagship phones.

The tech company emphasized its own chip inside the new Pixel 6 phones. Generally called Tensor SoC. Google hasn’t revealed all of the components of the phones, for instance, the new Titan M2 chip is used for security.

Google has been developing the Tensr chip for Four years now.

So excited to share our new custom Google Tensor chip, which has been 4 yrs in the making ( for scale)! Tensor builds off of our 2 decades of computing experience and it’s our biggest innovation in Pixel to date. Will be on Pixel 6 + Pixel 6 Pro in fall.

Just like Windows TPM chip for security on Windows, Google has its own chip for security.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro phones are simple, elegant, and have a premium finish according to the prototypes by Google.

Two different phones, for instance, the Pro version has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display design resembles that of the Samsung Edge phones with a little curved at the edge.

The Google Pixel 6 has a hole-punch camera and thin bezels

At the back, are three cameras: a wide-angle main camera, an ultrawide, and a 4X optical-zoom telephoto lens.

The Pixel 6 has two more fun color choices

While the Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch FHD+ screen with a lower 90Hz refresh rate. The edges are not curved and it doesn’t have the telephoto lens.

The Pixel 6 Pro comes in three staid color options.

The Pixel 6 Pro has glossy aluminum finishes, while the regular 6 has a matte aluminum finish. Asides from all of these, there are no other differences between the models announced by Google.

The soon-to-be-released Pixel 6 and Pro models are designed differently from the plastic offering of the pixels before them.

Google is intending to steal some of the High-end market shares, Samsung leads the race.

There’s no currently no word on the launch date from Google. Although its last Pixel 5 launched in October last year, we can expect the same for the Pixel 6.
