As always, Grammys 2021 was yet another night of many history-making. Beyonce became the artiste with the most Grammy wins — 23 awards — after picking up awards with “Brown Skin Girl”, “Black Parade” and her collaboration with Meghan Thee Stallion “Savage”.
Nigerian act Burna Boy also made history as his “Twice As Tall” album became the first Nigerian and first afrobeats album to win at the Grammys.
Wizkid also picked up an award with his feature collaborating on Beyonce’s “Brown Skin Girl”.
The award ceremony held on March 14th saw electric performances from Taylor Swift, Roddy Ricch, Lipa, Eilish, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, BTS, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Chris Martin, Maren Morris and Burna Boy.
