The United States $2 trillion stimulus package
The US Congress passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act in March 2020. The Act is a $2 trillion stimulus package with the aim of providing financial relief to citizens undergoing financial hardship amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
These stimulus checks are now in the process of being deposited directly into US citizens’ bank accounts. However, it requires that they have made a certain amount of money in 2019 or to have filed a federal income tax return.
Square is offering the Cash App alternative for those who are not in that category to receive their stimulus payments.
