Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S consoles are available for preorder around the world from today 22nd September 2020. This article is focused on helping you know where you can make the preorder.
In the United States, preorders will start at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT at Amazon, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Costco, Sam’s Club, GameStop, Newegg, and Army and Airforce Exchange Service.
In Canada, Xbox preorders start at 11 AM ET / 8 AM PT. You can preorder at the Microsoft Store, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, EB Games, and The Source. There’ll also be ‘other participating retailers.’ In the UK, it starts at 8 AM BST. You can preorder at the Microsoft Store, GAME, Amazon, Dixons, Currys PC World, Argos, John Lewis, and Smyths Toys.

For Australia, Xbox preorders start at 8 AM AEST at the Microsoft Store, JB Hifi, EB Games, Telstra, Harvey Norman, and ‘other participating retailers.’ In New Zealand, you can start to preorder the Xbox from 8 AM NZST at the Microsoft Store, JB HiFi, EB Games, Spark, and “other participating retailers.”
As for the rest of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Microsoft says online preorders start from 9 AM CEST. You can preorder at the Microsoft Store, Amazon, MediaMarkt, GameStop, FNAC, Elkjøp/Elgiganten, and other participating retailers. The company also says that Retailers and availability may differ by country.
The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are priced at $499, and $299 respectively. It is also not clear exactly how many consoles will be available in the initial preorder phase.
