Popular crypto YouTuber, IvanonTech has had his account suspended for a week. This is probably due to what many call witch-hunting of crypto bloggers by the video streaming platform.

U.Today reports that Chris Dunn, a popular blogger on YouTube who makes videos on crypto investment, took to Twitter to tell his audience that a great number of his crypto-related videos had been removed from YouTube.

YouTube’s reason for the removal is that the blogger cited ‘harmful and dangerous content’.

The crypto community now majorly recommends that he moves his videos to decentralized platforms, like, Tron-based VibraVid or StoryFire.

Chris Dunn has a little over 200,000 subscribers on his channel and over 7 million views as well as about ten of years video content.

It seems that videos for the past two years have been removed, however, there are still a lot of videos on his YouTube account. The date of his most recent video upload is two weeks ago. Everything before that was two years ago.

A fellow YouTube blogger named ‘Crypt0’ has posted a video to tell his audience about the situation with Chris Dunn with the title:

“YouTube Crypto CENSORSHIP?? Chris Dunn TV, Chico Crypto, Heidi, (and others?) being targeted”.

Several decentralized blockchain-based platforms for video bloggers and streamers have appeared in the last few years. This might mean that YouTube could lose its leadership in the crypto-related video industry in the future.

Among these decentralized platforms is BitTorrent-based BLive launched recently. It offers streamers a larger percentage of income unlike YouTube, Tron-based VibraVid with BeatzCoin, etc.
