How To Clear The Cache On Your Android Phone, Make It Breezy Again

Caches are made up of small pieces of history stored by your web browsers and apps, when they get a lot they slow down your android phone.

Cookies help to improve your app performance, although they can slow down your phone.

Has your Android phone been lagging lately, it’s probably the caches causing your apps and web pages to crash. Games may be slow, freezing, and may fail to load entirely.

Here is an easy and sure way to clear the cache on your Android phone:

  1. Open Settings on your phone
  2. Click Battery and Care
  3. Tap Storage
  4. Scroll down to Cached Files.
  5. A dialog box should display asking you if you wish to clear caches for all apps. Click on OK.

  1. Go straight to your Settings App
  2. Click on Apps
  3. Find the App you want to clear cache for
  4. Click on Storage
  5. Click on Clear Cache

Clearing the caches on your mobile Chrome browser is another great way to make your phone breezy. Here’s how to go about it:

  1. Open the Chrome Browser on your phone.
  2. Click on the three dots located at the top right side of the screen.
  3. When the Menu drops, click on History, select Clear Browsing Data.
  4. You can decide to clear all or a select time duration.
  5. Click on Clear Data.

If after all of this and your phone isn’t fast and breezy, then you should consider doing a factory resetting your phone. If that’ still doesn’t do the trick, then it might be time to get a new phone.
