HP’s Newest 11-Inch Tablet Has Reversible Cameras With Windows 11

HP recently released a new 11-inch tablet that ships with Windows 11, it also has a clever reversible camera setup. Its 13-megapixel camera can work as a webcam by sliding to the edge of the tablet.

This neat reversible camera technology is the first for any tablet according to HP. Its screen runs a 2160 x 1440 IPS display that offers high contrast and sharpness. Productivity wise, this tablet shares the same functionality as Microsoft’s Surface Go 3.

Rear-facing reversible Camera that functions as a webcam

Internally, the 11-inch tablet runs an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, 128GB of NVME storage and a mild 4GB of RAM. Side note, its clever camera also works as a front-facing camera when reversed.

HP Tit Pen

Perfect for taking notes is the HP Tilt Pen, for external connectivity, there’s a USB-C port and a microSD card slot. HP is going big on security with this device, it has a fingerprint reader attached to its power button.

Microsoft will be releasing Windows 11 as a free upgrade on October 5th, the tech company made the announcement on August 31st 2021. The upgrade will first be available for newer 11th generation laptops and then older eligible laptops in Mid 2022.

Like the other versions, Windows 11 will be released in batches, while the newer laptops will ship the operating system preloaded after October 5th. As earlier announced Android apps will be coming, but sadly not this year.

But, it will be available for users in the Insider program for months to come. To be able to install Microsoft next operating system on any hardware, you will need an ISO method. Microsoft recently announced Windows 11.

“Following the tremendous learnings from Windows 10, we want to make sure we’re providing you with the best possible experience,” says Aron Woodman, General Manager (Windows Marketing) at Microsoft.

 “We expect all eligible devices to be offered the free upgrade to Windows 11 by mid-2022.”

The unveiling of the operating system was handled mainly by Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer Panos at a virtual event. The base model of HP’s 11-inch tablet starts at $499 without adding the keyboard. If you want the keyboard included, it will cost you an additional $100.
