Recall that few weeks ago, news became rife on social media that Whitemoney has signed a deal with EME

The rumor was strengthened after a photo of Whitemoney, alongside Banky W and Tunde Demuren went viral

Meanwhile Whitemoney’s caption did not help to resolve the rumors

“Now that we are in good hands, let the music flow. EGWU & YOU BAD drops: 23/09/22 Are You Ready???”, he wrote on Twitter, alongside the photo

News then began to spread that Whitemoney is the new Signee of the label

However, in a recent interview with Hot FM Lagos, Banky W categorically set the records straight and stated that he did not sign the reality TV star.

According to the musician, EME changed its status from a record label to a media and marketing firm in 2017.
He further claimed to have just helped Whitemoney secure an ambassadorial arrangement with a company that it provides advisory services to.
Banky W was sure to emphasize that the deal was only for an influencer campaign for one of the corporate businesses that EME works with.
Meanwhile, Since winning the show Last year, Whitemoney has released a total of 4 songs,
with the most recent being “Egwu” and “You Bad”
EME on the other hand only has Banky W as it’s signed artiste
