Fast-rising singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable says he has been famous even before his breakthrough track “Zazuu Zeh”.
In an interview with Echo room, Portable stated Poco Lee and singer, Olamide didn’t make him famous. According to him, he became famous on his own before they reached out to him.
Portable noted how people would locate one when their time for greatness has come. He revealed that they linked up with him through dms.
Speaking on his rise to fame, Portable reemphasized that no one made him who he is today. However, he gave credit to his fans and God for making him who he is today.
Recounting his struggling days, he stated that when people hailed him for being famous, he always disagreed with them as he didn’t have money, car or travelled the world.
However, now that he has the trio and more, he can finally agree that he is famous.

Portable came into the limelight after his hit track “Zazoo Zeh” featuring Olamide, the rapper, and Poco Lee in December last year.
He has been in the spotlight for controversial reasons since then.
In May, singer was nominated for the “Best Street Artist” and “Rookie of the Year” categories at the recently concluded 15th Headies.
But he was disqualified by the award organisers after he threatened to kill anyone who wins the categories and claimed that he founded ‘One million Boys’, the suspected cult group in Lagos.
Portable also taunted the award organisers and Singer Goya Menor, for winning the “Best Street Hip Hop” category.
