iOS 14, Apple’s latest major software update for iPhones, is now available to download. The latest iPadOS, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14, and its watch software WatchOS 7 are also available to iPad users for download.

Some of the new features on iOS 14 include widgets on the home screen, an App Library that organises all apps in one place, and a Translate app that works with 11 different languages. It also features a picture-in-picture video that’s already been made available for iPad users. iPhone 6S and later owners and owners of the iPad touch can download and run iOS 14.

For the iPadOS 14, its new features include Scribble, which converts handwritten text in any text box and converts it to printed text. There’s also a new look for search, and some apps have design changes, like sidebars and expanded menus.

iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 share some updates that are similar. Messages is getting mentions, in-line replies, and pinned conversations. Siri is getting a new and more compact design, Maps is getting cycling directions, electric vehicle routing, and curated guides. Safari can also now translate pages, monitor your saved passwords, and show trackers on websites.

WatchOS 7 will also be bringing sleep tracking, new watch faces, a Memoji app. There’s also a system for families to manage multiple Apple Watches from one iPhone, among other features.

Lastly, tvOS 14 is available with multiuser support for games, the ability to show lyrics in Apple Music, and other features.
