Smartphone company, itel announced a new phones series, the S16 series, and we have put together all the important details that you need to know about the device including specifications and price.
itel Mobile launched the S16 series in Nigeria at a digital event. It announced the three smartphone via a Tweet saying:

The first smartphone under the series is the itel S16. It offers a 6.5-inch screen that sports a waterdrop selfie camera design. On its back, it is armed with three rear cameras. The company says that the S16 and its other counterparts uses an AI selfie 2.0 camera.

Meanwhile, its main camera is an 8MP sensor that is supported by a 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor. S16 uses what is termed ‘Real Big Battery’ that has a 4,000mAh capability and is launched with the Android 10 (Go Edition) operating system.
The second phone under the series is the itel S16 Pro (3G) and it comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ full screen. It features a dot-notch selfie camera and triple rear camera set up. In addition, the smartphone offers a memory combination of 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It also launches with Android 10 (Go Edition) operating system.
The itel S16 Pro (4G), the third smartphone, is almost like the S16 variant in specifications. Its major difference is that it has 4G LTE capabilities and its main camera is a 13MP PDAF sensor.
All of the S16 series smartphones are designed to give it a sleek and thin look. It is also built to be splash proof and dust proof as well. They all have AI bokeh effect and AI portrait HDR. The smartphones can also automatically capture a selfie when it senses a user smiling at the front camera. This feature is called the ‘smile selfie’.
itel is also selling the TWS earpod as well. We have not found the price of the itel series smartphone, it appears that it will be available for purchase in Nigeria on 16th October 2020.
