Nollywood actress Kehinde Bankole has revealed that she had to gain weight for her role in Netflix’s newly released limited series ‘Blood Sisters”.
In a tweet shared this week, Bankole revealed that she put on extra pounds to look older, and act the domineering wife to Femi (Gabriel Afolayan)
“Fitting day weight Vs Final shoot weight. A main personal character goal for me was for yinka to look much older than femi, fatter & definitely more domineering,” the actress wrote.
“Thanks to the guidance of the directors @kennethgyang & @biyibandele. Losing it back gradually #BloodSistersNetflix”

Meanwhile a lot of Nigerians have slammed the 18+ scenes in this film. Actor Gabriel Afolayan and Kehinde Bankole who were a couple in this film had some adult scenes in the film.

“Blood Sisters” is centered around two best friends Sarah (Ini-Dima Okojie) and Kemi (Nancy Isime). Sarah is set to marry Kola (Deyemi Okanlawon) who is an abuser. However, she changes her mind on their wedding day, a decision that upsets Kola greatly.
He tries to make her change her mind in a violent way, however he meets his end when Kemi pulls the trigger. His death leads to a series of unfortunate events that even these ladies cannot fathoms.
