Singer Kelly Hansome has accused Don Jazzy of having him arrested by men of the now supposedly defunct Special Anti-robbery Squad, SARS.
The singer made the accusation in response to Don Jazzy’s statements on Bounce Radio’s Blackbox interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. On it, Don Jazzy said he’s always treated everyone fairly and challenged anyone who had something contrary to say to speak up.
“I want somebody to come outside and beat their chest and say Don Jazzy did not treat me right. Then at that point, we might now be responding to something,” Don Jazzy said.
“I don’t think there is anybody on the surface of earth that would say, this is what Don Jazzy did to me, whether boyfriend, girlfriend that would just say this is what I did. I go out of my way…ask the people close to me, I dey take pains for people.”
In response, Kelly Hansome, real name Kelechi Orji accused the music mogul and Mavins Records boss of setting his dogs on him and having him arrested by SARS operatives.

“Did he also state when he and his girlfriend arrested me with SARS and moved me from Kano to Abuja in handcuffs? No he won’t say that part, but it happened. Did he say when he sent his dogs to intimidate me and @rexidaminabo? No. Thank God Festus Keyamo is still alive,” he said.
This will not be the first time Kelly Hansome will accuse Don Jazzy of ill-treatment. In 2018, the singer who’s had his fair share of troubles in the music industry — beef with MI, D’banj, and Wande Coal — thanked his soldier friends for intervening when Don Jazzy tried to arrest him.
Don Jazzy is yet to respond to Hansome’s latest accusations.
