After months of anticipating Kemi Adetiba’s “King of Boys 2”, the ace director has finally released the new date of the much talked about sequel.
On Sunday 25th July 2021, Kemi Adetiba took to Instagram hinting that “KOB 2” may be dropping on Netflix on Monday 26th July by 9.30 am.

In her tweet, she went as far as pre-informing her followers that they are likely to go late to work after watching the film.
However, after hours of waiting and refreshing of Netflix app, fans received the shocker that “King of Boys” will not be coming till 27th August.
In an Instagram post, Kemi Adetiba explained that the sequel is now a 7 part limited series, now known as “King of Boys: The Return of The King”

Sola Sobowale and Adesua Etomi-Wellington also won the 2019 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for “Best Actress In A Leading Role” and “Best Actress in a Supporting Role”, respectively for their role in the film.
