Last year, the Governor was present at the Covenant Christian Centre annual Independence Day event tagged “The Platform”. At the event, Governor Sanwo-Olu applauded the bike hailing system and stated how the government plans to regulate its activities.

However, Lagosians are now stating that they have been scammed by the Governor, who has gone back on his promises.

Today is the first working day since the ban started. Twitter users have revealed that the crowds at bus stops have increased, and there are no bikes to convey people to their places of work.
