Former NBA player Lamar Odom and fiancé Sabrina Parr have called off their engagement nearly one year after announcing their plans to marry.

Sabrina Parr broke the news on her Instagram story Wednesday 4th November.

“Y’all know I’m honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar. This has been a difficult decision for me to make but it is the best for myself and my children.

Lamar has done some things that he alone has to work through. I love him dearly but I am no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs.”

Lamar Odom has struggled with drug addiction in the past, but it was not clear what “things” he is dealing with now.

Lamar Odom proposed to Sabrina Parr in November 2019. After months of deliberating, the couple came out last month to confirm that they have picked a wedding date.

Taking to Instagram, Parr shared a professional photo of their “Save The Date” card. The card stated that the couple would tie the knot on November 11, 2021, in a ceremony slated to hold in Miami, Florida.

Odom was married to Khloé Kardashian. They tied the knot in 2009 and split after four years of marriage due to Odom’s struggles with addiction and infidelity. They finalized their divorce in 2016.
