Lenovo has announced a ThinkPad that folds, the ThinkPad X1 Fold and it’s the first of its kind for a PC. It has a 13-inch OLED laptop screen and is available for preorder for about $2,499.
The PC is like a large tablet when it’s fully unfolded and you can also divide its screen into two adjacent displays. Additionally, You can set it up horizontally like a traditional 13-inch notebook, with an optional detachable keyboard and easel stand.
Fold it to 90 degrees, turn it vertically, and you can use it as a miniature laptop. When you fold it 90 degrees, a touchscreen keyboard pops up on the bottom half and gives you a whole PC. Turn it horizontally and you can use it like a book, with an optional stylus. Or, fold the entire pc and carry it around without the need for a bag.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold comes with 11th Gen Intel processors, two USB-C ports, and a SIM-card slot, 8GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, and a 50Wh battery. It is pretty light at just under 1kg and could ship with 5G support.
Lenovo also announced the ThinkPad X1 Nano. At 1.99 pounds, it’s the lightest ThinkPad ever. It is based on Intel’s new Evo platform, which is meant to certify that the laptops deliver long battery life, fast charging, and a quick boot time, among other features.
The Nano has a 13-inch 2K 16:10 display with touch and non-touch options. It also comes with AI security features which can: detect when you’re walking by and wake itself up, and lock itself when you walk away.
The ThinkPad X1 Nano comes with 11th Gen Intel processors up to core i7, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage, a 48Wh battery. It also has four 360-degree microphones, and Intel’s Xe integrated graphics. It supports 5G can run Linux in addition to Windows 10 Pro. The Nano is to be available in Q4 2020, from $1,399.
