LG Display a sister company to the Electronics division has unveiled four different OLED transparent concept Screens at CES 2022. These screens include the OLED shelf, Shopping Managing Showcase, Show Window and Smart Window.
The OLED shelf comprises two 55-inch transparent OLED displays side by side. That means different content can show on separate screens. The company says this will be ideal for a living room, showing Art work and TV.
All of these screens are rollable and wind down or up like a projector display. The shopping Managing Showcase unlike the OLED Shelf is made for “luxurious” department stores.
This Screen can be customizable as owners can add graphics to highlight a specific product or even visual effects. The OLED display is inserted into a wooden stand and placed in front of the display product.

Interesting the next concept “Show Window” has four distinct 55-inch OLED panels that show products. Owners can add digital text which can be easily changed according to the taste. Although still a concept, LG Display says the Show Windows is already on display in four countries namely South Korea, China, Japan and Britain.
The last transparent Screen announced is the “Smart Window” this OLED display is made for productivity majorly Video calls or office presentations. There were no physical images of the screen, all of these displays can be connected by an HDMI cable.
Right at another stand, LG Display also announced a curved OLED chair. Although this gadget is still a concept, there are plans to make an actual product soon.
So what makes up this chair? There’s a large 55-inch OLED screen and a reclining seat that has an almost 360-degree angle. The TV has a 1500R curve, which can rotate between landscape and portrait modes with a press of a button. This concept is known as the “Midea Chair.”It also makes vibrations with multiple speakers around the chair for an immersive sound.
LG Display majorly produces concepts that other manufacturers can adapt and modify. Each of these 55-inch OLED display has a 1080p resolution with 40 per cent percent transparency according to the company.
