What appears to be a budget smartphone from LG has surfaced online with the name K31, here are the specifications of the device we found online.
LG has struggled to find its way into the high-end smartphone market. The company had tried unsuccessfully with its V series, which despite its innovative design and powerful features, could not go mainstream.
Even recently, LG had launched the Velvet smartphones. Its 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM had still not been enough to conquer the market or even place it on par with competitors.

Thus, with LG K31, the company is trying its hand in the budget smartphone space. According to specifications that GizChina leaked, the device will come with a screen display of 720 by 1620 pixels. Also, it will use a MediaTek Helio P22 processor.
The processor uses an Arm Cortex-A53, a 64-bit CPU, and an Octa-Core. While it has a maximum memory capacity of 4GB to 6GB, LG K31 will have a 2GB RAM. However, the good thing is that the smartphone will come with Android 10.
These are the only specifications of the LG K31 that we could find. There is no information about the battery capacity yet but if it is as high as the Velvet’s 4,300mAh battery or even higher, it may be a good ‘other phone’ to have.
While there is no price yet attached to the LG K31, it will be far more affordable than LG Velvet. So, we are looking at a budget smartphone with a starting price of around $100 (or less).
