Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have been in the news for a couple of weeks following their separation and her alleged relationship with Kaitlynn Carter. And they are back in the news because Liam Hemsworth just filed for divorce from Miley Cyrus.
Neither the Aussie heartthrob nor the former Hannah Montana has given the details as to what exactly caused the split. And now, all hope fans had of the couple getting back together have been dashed because Liam Hemsworth has filed for divorce.
According to a source, the 29-year-old actor filed for divorce “quickly” because of Cyrus’ openness about her new relationship. Miley Cyrus is reportedly dating 30-year-old blogger Kaitlynn Carter.
The source said:
“He thought they could work it out. But all those pictures of her and Kaitlynn ended that. Liam comes from a very conservative family, and his family did not take the news well.”
Prior to this, Liam Hemsworth was silent on the issue. Miley Cyrus has been the only vocal one, explaining her reasons for leaving the relationship.
Also, Liam’s decision to file for divorce comes shortly after Miley’s VMAs performance. She seems to have made it clear to him that it was over in her new song “Slide Away”.
