Controversial singer, songwriter and actress Madonna is furious at Instagram for deleting her racy photos shared to their platform.
On Wednesday, November 24, the material girl singer shared a carousel of photos from a risque photoshoot where she was clad in leather lingerie, fishnets and a diamond cross necklace.
The 63-year-old singer posed splayed on a bed in several of the shots, displaying her derriere in fishnet and showed her nipple in others.
“Angel watching over me,” she captioned the posts.
The photos elicited mixed reactions from her followers; while some hailed her for her still beautiful body, others questioned why she chose to pose n*ked for the gram.
Instagram later took down the post for violating their policy on n*dity.

Not giving up, Madonna reposted the photos, this time the edited version. The mother of six also flayed Instagram for taking down the previous post, calling the move “sexist”.

“The reason they gave my management that does not handle my account was that a small portion of my nipple was exposed.
“It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman’s body to be shown except a nipple. As if that is the only part of a woman’s anatomy that could be sexualized. The nipple that nourishes the baby”
‘Can’t a mans nipple be experienced as erotic ??!! And what about a woman’s a** which is never censored anywhere.
‘Giving thanks that I have managed to maintain my sanity through four decades of censorship…… sexism……ageism and misogyny.”
Instagram’s Community Guidelines state that n*dity is not allowed and the female nipple is included as n****y. However, the male nipple is not inclusive.
There are other exceptions as well. They include breastfeeding, giving birth, after-birth moments, health-related situations and also as an act of protest.
