May D Suffers Leg Burns From Fire Incident In His Home

Afropop singer Akinmayokun Awodumila as known professionally known as May D has sustained leg burns from a fire incident in his home.

The DMW singer shared photos of his injury in a series of posts made via his Inststory. The pictures explain that the “Ile Ijo” crooner is receiving treatment in a hospital

“Hey guys, put me in your prayers. There was a fire in my house and my leg got burnt,” he captioned one photo.

In May 2020, May D narrated all he faced while under Square Records owned by the singing duo Psquare. He revealed was sleeping in a TV carton in Psquare’s Boysquarters even after he had hit songs under the label.

“For your information, I was staying in their boys’ squatters with their driver and their cook just one room all of us shared a toilet and I had big songs and also the other side of their twin duplex was empty! Now! I slept on brand new television carton used my shirt as cover cloth” He wrote.

On his part, Jude Okoye explained that May D was never signed, and left at the point Square Records offered him a contract.

He said May D was treated like family and given rare privileges, but that singer wanted to live like PSquare which wasn’t possible.

Davido’s DMW record label signed May D in July 2020. He also released a single titled “Lowo Lowo.” last year.
