Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband Lanre Gentry and his new wife Oluwabusola are now proud parents of a baby girl.
The businessman took to his Instagram page on Sunday, February 28, 2022, where he shared the good news with his followers.
“Thank you, Lord, for the gift of marriage. I’m very happy it is a baby girl thank God,” he captioned the photo.

Gentry tied the knot with his then-pregnant wife Oluwabusola in September 2021.
Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband split in 2017. The marriage ended amidst allegations of domestic violence and infidelity. They share a son, Juwon while Aigbe has a teenage daughter Michelle from a previous relationship.
Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe has found love in the arms of businessman Kazim Adeoti. She revealed the identity of her new lover on the occasion of his birthday, on January 23 2022.
Reacting to the big reveal, Gentry took to his Instagram page to share a throwback photo of himself, Aigbe and her new man Kazim Adeoti at an event. In his caption, he wrote that the “truth” is finally out.
“At last I thank God the truth is out this is just one out of many to God be the glory. I don’t need anyone’s comment please,” he captioned the photo.
However, on TVC’s “Your View” on Wednesday, 26th January the show’s host Morayo Afolabi-Brown revealed that Mercy Aigbe had reached out to her to dispel some of the misconceptions surrounding her recent marriage.
Aigbe revealed that Gentry and Adeoti were never friends. She said the photo was taken when Adeoti her new husband invited her and other Nollywood key players to his birthday party.
