BBNaija’s reality TV show winner, Mercy Ike has revealed that her relationship with Ike is not a joke.

 

She also revealed that they are not trying to prove a point by making their relationship public with their reality show on Africa Magic.

 

Mercy made the revelation on a live Instagram video with TV presenter Idia Aisien.

 

”People still doubt it because it is too real. People still doubt because they don’t believe in something they don’t know. They don’t believe in that kind of relationship or whatever it may be

 

They don’t believe that someone like me will be with Ike and be in love and we are not trying to prove a point.” She said on the live video.

 

Mercy and Ike were on-screen couples during the 2019 edition of Big Brother Naija.

 

However, it was believed that they went their separate ways after the show, as they stopped posting photos of each other on social media.

It was Mercy who first prompted the reports that she had broken up with Ike.

 

She declared on social media that she was single before the TV show  “Mercy & Ike”  launched.

 

A lot of social media users are reacting to their reality show differently. While some can’t get enough of the show of love between the couple, others believe everything about the show is scripted.

 

Well, for those doubting the love between these two, you have your answer from the horse’s mouth.
