MI Abaga’s Fans Rage As Wizkid Declares Rap Is Dead!

Mixed reactions have continued to trail Wizkid Aka Big Wiz’s statement on Rap being dead

The singer in a recent interview with 10 Magazine declared that he no longer listens to rap as He considers it as boring and dead

He added that rappers always follow the same method, and rap on the same beats and the same flow.

“Afrobeats is the new pop. I sold two million copies in America off of one song! Even some American artists don’t have a diamond record. If I’m being honest. I don’t listen to any other genre of music anymore.

I don’t listen to rap – that s**t is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same s**t, rap on the same beats and the same flows”.

Meanwhile this statement has continued to anger rap fans, especially fans of MI Abaga and other rappers in the country
