Nigerian afrofusion superstar Burna Boy has hinted that he may never get married, something that really makes his mother mad

The singer took to his IG Stories to share that his mother always goes red in the face anytime he tells her he’s never going to mary

“My mum hates it so much whenever I tell her I’m not getting married. She turns red. My own issue is that now I’m too sure if I really mean it or I just say it to piss her off,” he wrote.

This squarely puts to bed rumours that he may have married his girlfriend and rapper Stefflon Don.

Recall that speculations went rife when in September 2020, when Burna Boy referred to Stefflon Don as his wife in a viral video.

“Look what my wife got me mehn,” referring to the neck jewellery he wore. “You see, you need a wife like my own, that’s the problem,” he added.

Prior to this video, there had been speculations about their engagement. In February, Stefflon Don shared a photo of herself wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring in her Instagram story.

The couple first went public about their relationship in 2019. During a 2019 interview with Ebro Darden, the “Ye” singer said he and Stefflon Don were in a committed and happy relationship.

However, the two have been very quiet about their relationship recently. With his latest announcement, does it mean a Stefflon Don and Burna Boy wedding is never happening?
