Naomi Campbell Storms Paris Fashion Week In Nigerian Kenneth Ize’s Designs

International model Naomi Campbell turned heads when she stormed the runway in Nigerian designer Kenneth Ize‘s statement designs at the Paris Fashion Week.

 

Debuting the fall-winter womenswear collection from Nigerian designer Kenneth Ize; the supermodel was on hand to help Ize make his Paris Fashion Week debut after previously modelling his womenswear range at Arise Fashion Week in Lagos.

 

The 29-year-old designer showcased his colourful fairy godmother collection at the fashion week which grabbed the viewers attention.

 

Composed from a bold colour palette dominated by green, white, black and red stripes, the distinctive outfit, worn by Campbell appeared to reflect and draw inspiration from Ize’s Nigerian heritage.

 

Naomi Campbell added to her fashion look with a pair of red buckled shoes, while her sweeping black hair was conventionally styled with a simple centre-parting.

The designer, who has continued to rise as a superstar in the fashion world, heaped praises on the supermodel. He noted that she has supported him from the get-go. “THANK YOU NAOMI!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤!!!! ♥️♥️♥️” he commented.

According to France 24, Ize told newsmen that he is living his dream. He also revealed that Campbell made it happen and stated that she is his fairy godmother.

Ize said the collection was inspired by his memories of going to the Catholic church in Lagos with his family. He noted that everyone was always in their best outfits. He said: “It is about my religion, love, who I am, the people I believe in and sharing.
