South African Netflix star Busisiwe Lurayi, popular for her role in “How To Ruin Christmas” is dead at age 36.
Eye Media Artists Agency, announced the demise of the actress in a statement.
The statement quoted her family as saying that she died on Sunday, July 10th, although the exact cause of her death remains unknown.
“We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of our beloved Busisiwe Lurayi. Busisiwe passed away suddenly and was pronounced dead at her residence on Sunday 10.07.2022 by medical personnel,” the statement read.

“The reason for her death is still unknown as we wait for the results of the autopsy report. We humbly request that you allow the family come to terms with this tragic news.
We thank you for the support that has been given so far and will provide further information as soon as it has been made available.”
In a tribute to the actress, Netflix SA, in an Instagram post, described her as an “incredible light”.
