Nikki Grahame, Big Brother UK Star Dies At 38 After Struggle With Anorexia

Nikki Grahame, star of Big Brother UK is dead. The reality Tv star died on the morning of Friday 9th April at the age of 38. No cause of death was provided.

The reality star had been open about her struggles with anorexia in her autobiographies, “Dying to be Thin” and “Fragile.”

Friends started a GoFundMe campaign last month to raise money to help Grahame get treatment.

“At the moment, Nikki constantly feels weak and is struggling on a day to day basis. She feels trapped and really wants to get better but feels like it’s impossible. It’s heart-breaking and we desperately just want a healthy and well Nikki back with us.” the page said.

Grahame rose to fame on Season 7 of Big Brother UK in 2006, in which she finished in fifth place. Later that year, she starred in her own reality series, “Princess Nikki,” where she attempted several jobs, like trash collecting and deep-sea fishing, and seeing whether she would be able to keep them for a day or be fired.

 

In 2010, Nikki Grahame finished in second place in Ultimate Big Brother, and in 2015, she returned as a guest housemate in Season 16 of Big Brother UK. The following year, Grahame competed in Big Brother Canada and finished in sixth place. Grahame was lauded as a breakout star of the “Big Brother” franchise and a reality television icon, known for her humorous testimonials and joyful personality.
