Nintendo recently announced that it is enabling Bluetooth audio support for its switch consoles through a software update. Gamers have not been able to use Bluetooth headphones for audio since the console launch in 2017.
While, its an improvement on Nintendo’s part, there are certain limitations. For example, the consoles doesn’t yet support Bluetooth microphones. The new Bluetooth software update also limits users to using just two wireless controllers with a Bluetooth headset in use.
Right there in the settings menu is a new section that shows “Bluetooth Audio.” Users can easily pair their headphones from the instructions displayed. This new update is known as the version 13.00.
Nintendo gamers have found ways to bypass the Bluetooth audio mess. Alternatively, users have used Bluetooth audio adapters. There are other restrictions are shown on it’s support page.
