Heartbreaking news for PS4 and Xbox One owners, the long-awaited Gotham Knights video game will be exclusively for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X owners.
The news totally sweeps gamers off their feet because it was not the initial plan. When it was announced in August 2020, the studio
developing the game, WB Games Montreal, had mentioned that it would be playable on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Now, after a delay that pushed its release date to October 25 2022, it seems the game is leaving out ‘last-gen’ gaming consoles in favour of the latest ones.

In the video announcement it dropped on Tuesday, the developer made it clear that it intends to keep up with the gaming industry’s movement, which means: letting go of the old and embracing the new.
Part of the announcement is also the fact that the game has a solo and co-op mode which allows gamers come together to take on missions. It also shows demo gameplay of what to expect when the real thing drops at the beginning of Q3 2022.
Players get to control Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl. All characters have unique fighting styles and ways of navigating the city which includes gadgets and mythical powers (for Red Hood). Additionally, there are several suits to pick from, upgrades that can be gained along the way and more.
