A “King Of Boys” sequel is in the works and Nse Ikpe Etim is joining the cast for the crime thriller.
The actress made the announcement via an Instagram post shared on Monday, August 17. She shared:
“It’s official. I am joining the King of Boys’ family on its sequel. Thank you @kemiadetiba for your inspiring work and I cannot wait to create magic with you and the rest of the team“.

Kemi Adetiba, director and producer of “King of Boys” shared the veteran actress will be playing the role of Jumoke Randle.
The filmmaker reposted Ikpe-Etim’s announcement writing: “Been wanting to work with you, Nse for SO SO long. I finally get the chance, and can’t wait for you all to meet Mrs. Jumoke Randle, wife to Governor Tunde Randle! Oh what a character!!! The KING OF BOYS might have her hands full in this sequel”.
While the date of release is yet unknown, word on the street is the production is well underway. Kemi Adetiba has also been updating fans with tidbits of information on the progress of the sequel.
The critically acclaimed “King Of Boys” was the 4th highest-grossing movie of 2018. It follows the story of a female underworld mob boss “Eniola Salami” played by Sola Sobowale.
