Fast-rising Nigerian singer Omah Lay is back in his feelings with his new single “Understand”.

The Port Harcourt-born star sang about his confusion and betrayal with unreciprocated love.

In the song, Omah Lay is expressing his hurt after the woman he loves, tramples on his emotions, and all his acts of love

Omah Lay teams up with  Nigerian record producer Tempoe for “Understand”. Tempoe alsp produced his 2021 smash hit single “Godly”.

In January 2021, Omah Lay sat with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on an episode of “Rubbin’ Minds” where he talked about moving to Lagos in 2019.  He also talked about his career blowing up during the pandemic and how he handled not being able to do so much at the time.

Concerning his sudden growth in the industry, he said “It was shocking actually, but that had always been the dream. Had plans to take things slowly but you know, it just happened the way it happened and I’m grateful man.”

Omah Lay is one artist doing tremendously well in the music industry. He won the “The Next Rated Award” at the February 2021 Headies.
