Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has confirmed her return to the Nigerian film industry after her four months hiatus due to the loss of her mother. On November 5th, 2020, Osas took to her Instagram page to announce the passing away of her mother.
Announcing her return to Nollywood with new photos, thanked her fans for their show of love during her time of grief.
“I’ve missed you all too. I am my Mothers Legacy and it’s time to get back to making her proud, so help me God🙏🏾. It’s been a very trying few months but I’m grateful for all the love and prayers and support you all have shown me.
I’ve seen your messages and concern and support. All I can say is Thank you from the bottom of my heart. it has helped in getting me through – one day at a time. God’s blessings to you all. I truly appreciate it. Peace, Love & Blessings”. She wrote

In March, Osas Ighodaro recently featured in Kemi Adetiba’s docu-series titled “Obonganwan”. The teaser released on the filmmaker’s page shows the delectable actress in tears as she spoke about coping with the loss of her mother.
Actress and comedienne Chigurl, TV Presenter Tope Olowoniyan, and singer Niyola were also in the round-table conversation talking about the loss of a loved one.
Ighodaro last featured in Play Network studios’ “Rattlesnake’ reboot directed by Ramsey Nouah. The film was released in Cinemas on November 13th, 2020.
