TV personality Denrele Edun has revealed how young people tried to bribe him to contest on the BBNaija reality show.
In 2012, Edun became the talk of the town as an easy access to participate on the reality show after Karen Igho, the eventual winner of that season, revealed that the cross-dresser helped her with her application form.
Speaking on Lunch Date, Edun said he gets n*des and monetary offers ranging from ₦100 million to ₦30 million from applicants looking to get on the reality show.
“I get a lot of nudes from people who want to go for BBNaija. I get all kinds of monetary offers, I have gotten ₦100m, ₦50m, ₦30m and I tell people go and do something reasonable with your money,” he said.

In June 2021, Denrele Edun opened up on the experiences he had dating a man. In an interview with Chude Jideonwo of #WithChude, the 40-year-old said he had decided to give dating men a try after several male advances.
Denrele shared that the relationship was fraught with problems so much that he couldn’t cope. He said his friends later advised him to leave the man due to the toxicity of the relationship.
