Nigerian singer Peter Okoye of the defunct Psquare group has taken to social media to announce he’s better off as a solo artist.
The singer writing on Facebook on June 23rd said he is richer now and doing much better to the shame of his “haters”‘.
“Team P! What were they thinking? That I wasn’t going to survive Alone? They just can’t stand the fact that I am Richer now and doing well for myself. Pained! And this post is for them and them alone! Just Watch them referring this post to my family as usual! Odes! Watch them start preaching!” he wrote.
“Like I said! Haters pls comment and Identify yourself on this post and my management will separate you out from my true fans. The Blocking also includes the people that liked and support the comment!”
“You must not like my doings! So Feel free to unfollow and unlike this my page! Or better still identify yourself so we can Block you! Have a very good morning!”

Things turned sour for the Psquare group in 2015. They were first rumors hinting at a break in the group but it was squashed by Peter.
However, in 2017, tangible evidence surfaced that the group was no longer together. According to reports, Peter had sent a letter to their lawyer asking for the dissolution of the group. He alleged Paul cancelled their shows and tours and he alongside their elder brother and manager Jude “Engees” Okoye threatened his wife and family.
Things got to hilt when a video of them insulting each other and almost exchanging blows in their lawyer’s office surfaced on the internet.
They’ve since continued to throw shades at themselves on social media.
Before their split, Psquare was arguably the biggest music group to come out of Africa in recent times and amassed fans from across the continent.
