Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have annouced that their show “Heart Of Invictus” is coming to Netflix. In 2014, Prince Harry founded a Paralympics-style competition for wounded service personnel and veterans. The couple on Tuesday, April 6th revealed that their company, Archwell Production Studios is working on a docuseries for Netflix on the competition.
“Heart of Invictus” will follow the athletes as they prepare for the Invictus competition. The event will hold in Hague, Netherlands, in 2022.
“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve.” Prince Harry said in a statement. “This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.”
Also confirming the news in a statement, Netflix shared;
“The documentary will follow a group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe. All service members who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses on their road to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, now set to take place in 2022,”

The docuseries will be directed by Oscar-winning British director Orlando von Einsiedel and producer Joanna Natasegara. Alongside Executive- producing “Heart of Invictus”, Prince Harry will also make appearances on the series.

Meanwhile, In 2020, Harry 36, and Meghan 38, signed a multi-year deal with Netflix. Their production company, Archwell will produce docu-series, feature films, children’s programme, and more exclusive content for Netflix.
