Nigerian rapper Victony has had successful surgery after a ghastly car accident.
In a press release, KVLT said the rapper has now undergone all surgeries and is currently recuperating.
“We are pleased to announce that Vict0ny who on the 26th of April, 2021 was involved in a fatal car accident and sustained severe injuries/fractures has successfully undergone all surgeries and is currently recuperating. He has left the ICU and is in high spirits,” part of the statement read.

The rapper was said to be returning home from a birthday party organised by Nigerian singer Oxlade, in the company of his friends when the incident occurred.

Talent manager Dafe also revealed that one person identified as Doyin died in the accident while others were “severely injured.”

Meanwhile, friends of the rapper took to social media to raise funds for his surgery. The statement on the Gofundme page states that Victony needed $50,000 for his surgery and post-surgery.
Victony is signed to MainlandBlockParty, a record label owned by Tobi Mohammed. The musician, also known by fans as the Outlaw King, had last year released ‘Saturn’, his debut extended play (EP).
