Reports from WinFuture says Samsung will be making its first “Ultra” high-end tablets with its Galaxy Tab S8 Line. This year’s tablet would also feature a base model Tab S8 and a super-sized S8 Plus.
WinFuture sources say the high-end Ultra model of the Tab S8 would have a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED refresh rate of 120Hz in 2960 by 1848 resolution. The cameras shipping with this tablet would sport a high 12-megapixel dual camera at the front and back.
Other specifications include a huge 11,200mAh battery, 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB space of storage. Right after this high-end tablet is the Tab S8 with a smaller 12.7-inches screen with 2800 by 1752 resolution.
This mid-range model according to WinFuture may not have a notch as the Ultra Tab S8. It also has a smaller 10900mAh battery, while the base model has an 8000mAh size. The base model is shrunk to an 11-inch LTPS TFT that is capable of 2560 by 1600 resolutions.

Galaxy Tab S8 might ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and it’s Adreno 730 GPU according to the leaker. Asides from the Ultra model, the other tablets will have a dual 13MP camera and 6MP camera at the back and a single 12MP at the front.
Samsung Display at the recently concluded CES 2022 event revealed some of the concept screen designs for its forthcoming foldable. The South Korean company has loads of prototype folding devices that showed off these concept screens.
This model will also be shipping with other features such as the S-Pen compatibility, optional 5G connectivity, and quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos. Concluding the report, WinFuture predicts that Samsung may announce the Galaxy Tab S8 at the February 8th unpacked event or at the Mobile World Conference (MWC) happening February 28th.
