What would you do when your seemingly happy marriage and ideal home crashes overnight? “Netflix’s “Finding Ola” has some answers.

The Egyptian Netflix show “Finding Ola” has been praised for its story and the performance of the actors. It follows the protagonist, Ola Abdel Sabour, and her seemingly ideal life that takes an unexpected downward turn.

The simple storyline follows Ola as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the help of her girlfriends. The first season premiered on Netflix on February 3. It has only six episodes with a run time between 45-55 minutes.

In the film, Ola would have to navigate her way as a divorcee, find her inner strength, while trying to run a new business with her overbearing mother by her side.

Viewers are already anticipating another season.

The main cast in the first season includes Hend Sabri as Ola, Hany Adel as Hisham, Nada Moussa as Nesrine, Sawsan Badr as Soheir, Mahmoud El Leithy as Montasser, Aisel Ramzy as Nadia, and Omar Sherif as Salim. If the show does get renewed, these actors will reprise their respective roles
