However, her business empire is threatened when she crosses paths with fellow businessman Jagapathi Babu. Jagapathi is ready to buy her out to remain the most relevant in the tea industry.

The story portrays Manasa as the strong female entrepreneur who defeats s*xism, and surpasses expectations to achieve her dreams.

With determination, she sets up a tea business in America when it is obvious there is no market for it. Instead of feeling defeated since coffee is a preferred beverage over tea in the US, it becomes an interesting landscape for Manasa to explore.

“Miss India” stars Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, and Bhanushree Mehra. Sumanth S, Poojitha Ponnada, Kamal Kamaraju and Nadiya also bring their talent to light in this film.

It is not every day you see films with women breaking barriers in business and other fields of endeavours that seems male-dominated.

If you still think it’s a man’s world, then Netflix’s “Miss India” will change your perspective.
