Samsung has announced its updated Galaxy buds with a second-generation variant, which includes active noise cancellation for $150.
Galaxy buds are the budget line of Samsung’s earbuds. This new-gen bud adds active noise cancellation and ambient sound mode for outdoor awareness.
Its Unpack event saw a release of new products from the South Korean company. Shown were the Galaxy watch 4, and foldable flagship phones.
These new Galaxy buds 2 are quite smaller than the Galaxy Buds Pro. Available in white, purple, grey, and green colours, these buds will ship on August 27th.
Samsung claims these Galaxy buds 2 will “deliver crisp, clear high notes and a deep bass”. This is because of its two-way drivers with a woofer and tweeter in each earbud.
Although, they lack the high level of water and sweat resistance of the more expensive Buds Plus they are rated IPX2. The Buds 2 have a robust battery life of 20 hours including the case, and 5 hours with ANC turned on.
If ANC is turned off, these Buds have a robust battery life of 29 hours and 7.5 hours.
