Samsung announced a new line up of devices at its Life Unstoppable virtual event. The devices include the Galaxy A42 5G, a new wireless charger that can charge multiple devices at once, and the Galaxy Tab A7.

The company boasted during the virtual even that the Galaxy A42 5G would be its most affordable 5G devices. The phone has a quad-camera layout on the back, a 6.6-inch OLED display, and is available in black.

Samsung says the Wireless Charger Trio is a charger that can wirelessly charge up to three devices like phones, tablets, smartwatch, Galaxy Buds, etc, simultaneously. It ships in black or white. It is an upgrade on the Wireless Charger Duo which could charge two devices at the same time.

Samsung also announced its Galaxy Tab A7 at the Life Unstoppable virtual event. The Tab A7 is a 10.4-inch tablet that has four Dolby Atmos-compatible speakers.

The company didn’t mention its intended pricing for the new tablet, however, the expectations are that it will be cheaper than the Tab S7 tablets announced at the Note 20 Unpacked event in August 2020. Samsung also highlighted its “on-the-go picture and sound entertainment experience,” citing its new Samsung Kids app with educational content for children. The tablet ships in gold, gray, and silver.

Samsung hosted the virtual Life Unstoppable at the same time with the virtual IFA electronics show in Berlin on 2nd September 2020.
