Samsung has confirmed that it would be removing Ads from its stock apps sometime this year. Its proprietary apps have had ads on default for all its apps that ships with its phones.
In a statement to The Verge, the company said “Samsung has made a decision to cease the advertisement on proprietary apps including Samsung Weather, Samsung Pay, and Samsung Theme.”
“The update will be ready by later this year,” they said.
Ads have been annoying on Android, they slow down the UX of the operating system. Hence Apple’s iOS and iPad operating systems are way better, and smooth too.
Samsung has finally listened to its customers and has decided to remove ads from its phones. The South Korean company reaffirmed:
“Our priority is to deliver innovative mobile experiences for our consumers based on their needs and wants,” the company said.
“We value feedback from our users and continue our commitment to provide them with the best possible experience from our Galaxy products and services.”

Samsung recently announced its updated Galaxy buds with a second-generation variant, which includes active noise cancellation for $150.
These new Galaxy buds 2 are quite smaller than the Galaxy Buds Pro. Available in white, purple, grey, and green colours, these buds will ship on August 27th.
Although, they lack the high level of water and sweat resistance of the more expensive Buds Plus they are rated IPX2. The Buds 2 have a robust battery life of 20 hours including the case, and 5 hours with ANC turned on.
Despite their budget $150 price tag, Samsung is positioning these buds as the go-to for Andriod users. Ensuring a smaller, elegant design with active noise cancellation for premium listening.
Samsung removing ads from its stock apps would definitely make its One UI Os better and smoother.
