Samsung launched a series of smart home appliances at the CES 2023, which it tags Bespoke Home. The latest is a Bespoke AI Oven that can live stream what you are cooking but that is not all.
Why is Samsung launching these kinds of products? “Our goal is to maximize the freedom customers have to pursue personalization and productivity in their kitchens, with new features enhanced with everything from large, responsive screens on our refrigerators to AI-powered cooking assistance,” Junhwa Lee, head of the customer experience team in Samsung Electronics’ digital appliances business, answered.
The oven features cooking settings, monitoring features, and notifications. Inside, it contains a camera packed with Samsung’s Sense Inside artificial intelligence technology which can recognise over 80 dishes and ingredients, and also detect burning.
If you wish, you can also use the internal camera to live stream what you are cooking in the oven on TikTok, YouTube, or elsewhere.
In addition, the oven works as a cooking assistant as it can recommend meals you should prepare based on what ingredients you have at home and your diet goals, thanks to a SmartThings Cooking and Samsung Health integration.

Besides the oven, the company also unveiled a Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator that has a 32-inch FHD screen on one of its doors, accompanied by Family Hub.
If you purchase it in the US or South Korea, you can use the fridge’s screen as a kitchen TV as well because it will support TV Plus service of over 190 free channels. Also, the screen has picture-in-picture support, allowing you to watch shows and check on other appliances while you cook.
Samsung plans to launch the Bespoke AI Oven in Europe at the beginning of 2023 and in North America by the third quarter of the year. Meanwhile, it will start selling the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator in North America and South Korea in the first half of 2023.
For now, the company has said nothing on their possible pricing.
