Photos of what is apparently the S Pen stylus and carrying case for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have leaked online according to WinFuture. The stylus looks similar in appearance to Samsung’s previous S Pens and the phone case appears a little wider than the smartphone, apparently to allow space for the accessory.

The WinFuture report states that the stylus will be sold separately from the phone for about $49. According to rumours, the S21 Ultra will be able to support the S Pen. However, it won’t have a dedicated slot to store it, unlike the Note variants, so the case is important.

The stylus is reportedly an optional accessory for the S21 Ultra, so it won’t come out of the box unlinke the Note phones. The president of Samsung mobile, TM Roh, had said the company would add some of the Galaxy Note’s “most well-loved features” to other devices it will be offering. An FCC filing also kind of confirmed that stylus support would feature in the upcoming flagship in December 2021.

Apart from the stylus support, the S21 will reportedly have a pressure-sensitive tip, and gesture controls via an accelerometer. It will also have controls for playing and pausing videos or remotely taking photos.

Samsung also confirmed that its next Unpacked launch event will take place on 14th January 2021. There are expectations that the Smartphone giants will announce the new Galaxy S21 lineup. It is also expected to launch the heavily rumoured Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds.
